Jaffa

Jaffa is a city on the Mediterranean coast to the south of Tel Aviv.

In 1949, Jaffa was merged with Tel Aviv, and since then both cities have a common municipality.

Jaffa is a city with a mixed Jewish-Arab population.

Jaffa has a rich and ancient history, its name is also associated with myths. It was in these places that Perseus freed Andromeda. Here Noah built his ark. From Jaffa, the prophet Jonah set out on his journey.

In ancient times, Jaffa was a prosperous fortress and port city. In 636, he was captured by the Arabs, but the Crusaders returned the former greatness to him.
